Delivering applications in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments presents several challenges. For instance, coordinating deployments across different cloud providers, managing diverse application and infrastructure types such as Kubernetes, GCP Cloud Run, AWS ECS, Lambda, Terraform, etc. How can we manage different applications and infrastructures in various environments effectively? Also, as we continuously see the presence of delivery stats like four keys, progressive delivery gains importance. Furthermore, the demand for security comes in. How can we follow security best practices like limiting production access and keeping credentials inside the cluster while keeping development flow easy? In this session, PipeCD will be introduced - a newly joined CNCF Sandbox project. Its architecture design and features will be described, which boost the delivery experience of hybrid and multi-cloud environments while ensuring security and visibility.
